Making and funding work: crowdfunding
WHO: Seminars are aimed at proactive visual artists and independent arts organisers/freelancers with at least five years of practice and professional experience behind them, an established or identified platform for their practice, who know their own professional development needs, already have new projects in mind and who would benefit from an immersive, interactive, full-day ‘workshop' experience. Priority will be given to applicants in North West England.
WHAT: This seminar forms part of the 'Granted' professional development programme and is produced as a collaboration between a-n The Artists Information Company that specialises in artists' professional development and crowdfunding organisation Wedidthis.
WHEN: 23 February, 10am-4pm, enabled through a partnership with Castlefield Gallery, Manchester.
CHARGES: Valued at £100, artists with a current a-n+AIR membership or Individual a-n subscription and who meet the application criteria can apply for a fully subsidised place.
DETAILS: Successful applicants can gain access to follow-up support including cash bursaries to enable further work on the best ideas and projects that emerge from the day's workshops.
