WHO: This opportunity is only open to designers and design companies that have produced printed works and are based in the North or Midlands.
WHAT: To celebrate the 2011-2012 Factory Nights programme rednile are looking to commission an innovative designer to produce a brand new Factory Nights publication.
This will follow the highly successful publication produced for our 2009-2010 programme featuring images hidden within a french fold design creating a document which the reader could explore. We are looking for creative ways to feature images from the Factory Night events, images of the artwork and events as part of Unique Commissions and pieces of creative and critical writing which respond to the innovative way Factory Nights commission artists and support their development. We recommend that you look at the ethos of Factory Nights on our website.
WHEN: We are looking to produce the publication by September 2012. Deadline for applications is Friday 27th April 5pm.
PAYMENTS: The total budget for design and print is £3k.
