WHAT: Freddie Robins (b. 1965) is an artist who challenges our perception of knitting as craft. Her work is internationally renowned, her practice crossing the boundaries of art, design and craft. She studied textiles at Middlesex Polytechnic (1984-87) and Royal College of Art (1987-89) where she is now a Senior Tutor.
WHEN: Thursday 11th October, 6.30-8.30pm

DETAILS: Her work is held in private and public collections including the Victoria and Albert Museum, Nottingham Castle Museum, Aberdeen Art Gallery and Museum and The West Norway Museum of Decorative Art, Bergen.
