PAYMENTS: £22,042 - £27,336 pa
DETAILS: to join a brand new technical team assisting students at Central Saint Martins College of Arts and Design in developing skills of the highest standard. Working alongside other academic & technical colleagues, the successful candidate will be responsible for assisting specialist technicians and providing technical support to students on an individual basis, helping them to realise their ideas using a variety of applications, tools and processes. As well as assisting the specialist technicians, the postholder will be responsible for day-to-day operations: installing software, running updates, handling stock and ordering replacement materials, selecting suppliers and running a safe learning environment. Applicants must have a good working proficiency in a variety of areas including: multimedia, interactive design, and screen-based output; digital imaging and video tools including compression, storage, archiving; OS setups (both Apple Mac & Windows PC); HTML and Web production; systems management (for updates, upgrades and general housekeeping).
