WHO: artists working in any medium or artform.
WHAT: a programme of temporary arts projects providing opportunities for artists and the general public to respond to the social, economic and environmental changes taking place in North Staffordshire now. Place Space and Identity 2 is the second year of a strategic initiative funded by Arts Council England West Midlands, Renew North Staffordshire, and Stoke City Council and is managed by B Arts.We are seeking proposals from artists working in any medium or artform for these projects. The projects must engage with people in North Staffordshire, either as participants in the creation of theartwork or as audience.
WHEN: All of the project work must be completed between January 2009 and March 2009.
PAYMENTS: Place Space and Identity 2 will be a programme of temporary works that range in scale, with one large commission available of £20,000, and a number of other commissions between £15,000 and £10,000. Please note that fees include all travel and production and documentation costs.
