Education Department Internship, Institute of Contemporary Arts
WHO: self-motivated individuals, experienced in gallery education and working within an office.
WHAT: the Education Department at the Institute of Contemporary Arts seeks to recruit a hard working and motivated intern. Working closely with the Director of Learning, this is a great opportunity to become involved in the ICA’s ambitious education programme, working with schools, colleges, communities and families in a hands-on capacity. Duties include developing and managing projects, supporting group visits, maintaining databases and general administration.
WHEN: four-month period for 3 days per week, subject to a two-week probationary period.
PAYMENTS: voluntary, but travel expenses (zones 1-4) are reimbursed and ICA staff benefits provided.
DETAILS: strong interpersonal skills, computer literacy, and an ability to work well both in a team and autonomously are desired. A committed interest in gallery education is essential.
