WHO: artists and craftspeople.
WHAT: the Harley Foundation has two studio spaces available for hire. The Foundation has three groups of studios and provides about 30 artists and craftspeople with affordable, well-appointed spaces in tranquil surroundings. The workshops are located on the Welbeck Estate, Nottinghamshire at the northern-most tip of Sherwood Forest and cover the site of the Victorian gasworks and kitchen garden.
CHARGES: Studio 1, 120sq metres, £230 per month. Studio 2, 60sq metres, £115 per month. For artist's wanting to set up a studio for the first time the Foundation offer a 'Seedbed Licence Scheme' offering artists the opportunity to have their monthly licence fee phased-in over the initial three years.
