WHO: curators, critics and artists.
WHAT: three day symposium bringing together leading international curators, critics and artists to ask: Is curating a profession? Does curating have a code of conduct? What does it mean to be a professional and when is it necessary to become unprofessional? Speakers will include Ute Meta Bauer, Paul Chaat Smith, Ann Demeester, Louise Déry, Geoffrey Farmer, Bruce Ferguson, Teresa Gleadowe, Matthew Higgs, Tom McDonough, Cuauhtémoc Medina, Philip Monk, Judy Radul, Monika Szewczyk, Pier Luigi Tazzi, Michael Turner, Andrea Viliani, Scott Watson, and Lori Waxmann.
