Art in the Garden at Sir Harold Hillier Gardens in Romsey, is one of the most exciting outdoor exhibitions of contemporary craft and sculpture in the UK and will be celebrating its 12th year in 2011. Artists are offered the opportunity to show and sell their work at the beautiful 180 acre Gardens, which is a registered charity and managed and operated by Hampshire County Council. Schools exhibition: After the success of AITG’s Youth Arts Exhibition ‘09 we hope to expand this to other schools both local and further afield. Opportunity to show and sell work to a new audience.Exhibition Opportunities: Featured Artist - an established artist with a strong body of new work suitable for outdoor exhibition from May - October, who can also mentor our artist in residence in August.New Graduates - artists who have graduated in the last two years with work suitable for outdoor exhibition.Established Artists - with work suitable for outdoor exhibition.Mentored Artist in Residence - new or emerging artist to work for one week at the gardens to create a new sculpture for Art in the Garden.
