Alternative Tour [ 7 May 2012 ]
The Borough Road Gallery hopes to commission an artist or group of artists to devise a self-guided ‘Alternative Tour’ of Bankside and Elephant & Castle. The Alternative Tour will be a free, downloadable guide in any format, which visitors can use to explore the local area. The Alternative Tour will mark the opening of the new Borough Road Gallery, explore the historical context of the artists it represents, and celebrate the past, present and future of Bankside and Elephant & Castle.
