8th Focused Eye Awards - Miniature Exhibition [ 5 September 2008 ]
Call for submissions to the 8th Focused Eye Awards exploring the art of miniature at The Art Works Galleries in Newcastle upon Tyne. Exhibition selection is based on artist’s interpretation of miniature art. This is an opportunity to work in small scale and create palm-sized pieces of art. Subject matter can vary provided the work demonstrates an engagement with the brief and is a ‘miniature’. Two-dimensional work must not exceed 21x15cm (including frame) and three-dimensional work must not exceed 21x15x15cm (including stand). One Submission per artist only. Read full listing…
The Ceramic Collection [ 25 August 2008 ]
Call for submissions for The Ceramic Collection showcase. The Art Works Galleries hosts a monthly exhibition focusing on a particular medium. Artists working within this medium receive a special rate. The gallery hires space to artists and take no commission from the sale of works. Exhibiting under the Collection you will receive a 40% reduction from usual exhibition rates. Read full listing…
