Z-arts was formed in 2000 as a ‘creative space for young people’ with a priority on providing participatory activity. Z-arts mission is to inspire and enable generations of young people from Manchester and beyond to use creativity to maximise their potential. Z-arts do this by supporting an individual’s creative journey from their first steps in creative practice to being a practicing artist.

Z-arts, Manchester’s dedicated venue for children and families. Z-arts (formerly Zion Arts Centre) has recently rebranded and need a strong individual to help carry and establish the new brand as a key part of Manchester’s cultural landscape. The person employed in this new post willactively promote all aspects of the work of Z-arts; to promote and encourage greater awareness and participation in all Z-arts’ workshops and classes and to increase overall attendance at all Z-arts’ performances and events.
