WHO: artists or arts organisations, with minimum five years' experience successfully managing artist-led community engagement and/or participatory projects in the public realm.
WHAT: programme, manage and deliver a high quality, artist-led engagement programme for the commemorative landmark at the Royal Artillery Barracks, Woolwich. This ‘memorial’ will celebrate the RAB as the host of the finals of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic shooting and archery competitions.
WHEN: the artist or organisation will appointed in March, ad the detailed delivery plan will be signed off in April. Project delivery of participative projects will take place May–July, with evaluation to be delivered in July.
PAYMENTS: overall project budget of £10K, to cover all management costs, programme, fees, materials, evaluation, relevant insurances and contingency.
