Kent Photography Lecturer
WHO: candidates with significant professional experience in photographic production, a degree and a higher degree (or equivalent), ideally a PhD, in a relevant subject area
WHAT: part time (0.5) Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Photography
WHEN: fixed term for 2 years
PAYMENTS: £29,972- £44,016 pa pro rata
DETAILS: to teach the practice and theory of digital and analogue photography, primarily on BA Photography at Canterbury Christ Church University. The successful applicant will also engage in research, knowledge exchange and professional and creative practice, together with administrative and pastoral duties as required. A strategy for personal research development and an ability to motivate and enthuse students and work closely within a team are essential as are first-class professional skills in digital and analogue photography, medium and large format and darkroom management. Proficiency in the use of colour management, knowledge of Aperture, Photoshop and Lightroom and professional accreditation from Apple or Adobe would be an advantage.
