WHAT: FREE EVENT, Booking Essential. ArtSway has always been innovative and supportive of early and mid-career artists and its audiences. We now invite all artists and communities to a legacy event to look back at ArtSway’s achievements and to look forward to how the artistic landscape may look without venues such as ArtSway. Please join the discussion and this networking opportunity. Topics for discussion will include: How to approach galleries; What opportunities are there for artists now; How to juggle making art and earning an income; The importance of self promotion as an artist and how this may be done in the fast moving world of social media and new technology.

DETAILS: Speakers: Peter Bonnell – former ArtSway Curator, now Curator at QUAD in Derby. Vicky Isley of Boredom Research. Artist, Lecturer at Bournemouth University and ArtSway Associate Artist. Charlie Murphy – Multidisciplinary Artist and ArtSway Associate Artist. Z Sinclair - Artist and visiting Lecturer, co-founder of art duo The Girls (www.thegirls.co.uk).
