WHO: artists at all stages of their careers over 18 years of age who live, or are professionally based, in the Midlands.
WHAT: the Nottingham Castle annual open has been a regular feature of the Castle's programme since 1878. With the generous support from sponsors, The Nottingham Annual Open 2012 is now the biggest art prize in the Midlands. Three impartial, non-Midlands based selectors are invited to Nottingham each year.
WHEN: 29 Sept-28 Oct.
PAYMENTS: prize fund £3000 and support in kind.
CHARGES: admission fee £12.
