WHO: Independent curators. Please note we do not accept proposals from individual artists.
WHAT: Grand Union’s project space is programmed by a team of curators working independently and collaboratively to produce an exciting and experimental public programme of exhibitions and events. We offer one annual exhibition slot for independent curators to propose a new project. Proposals will be assessed by the current programming team and one studio holder from Grand Union. Proposals will be selected based on the concept of the project, the quality of the proposed artists’ work and how the project fits within Grand Union’s overall programme.
WHEN: The next deadline is Friday 7 September 2012.
PAYMENTS: Proposals will be match funded by Grand Union, but the majority of the budget should be raised by the applicant. Grand Union will provide all marketing and publicity, curatorial support, technical management and equipment where possible.
