Assistant Curator
WHO: With proven relevant experience, a degree or an equivalent qualification in a relevant subject, you will have a broad knowledge of and interest in international twentieth century and contemporary art particularly that from South Asia.
WHAT: As a member of the Curatorial team, your main responsibility will be to contribute to the development of Tate’s collection of international art through acquisitions, research and the giving of advice, and assisting with the running of Tate’s network of acquisition committees. As well as maintaining documentation and administration of the acquisition process, you will collaborate with a variety of colleagues and build and maintain effective external relations. You will also work on the programme of exhibitions and displays.
WHEN: Fixed term 12 month contract, full time 36 hours per week. Deadline: 26 August 2012 at midnight.
PAYMENTS: Salary: £22,900 per annum.
