WHAT: part time (0.4) Lecturer/Senior Lecturer  - BA (Hons) Textile Design

WHEN: Maternity Cover for 6 months in the first instance

PAYMENTS: £11,882 - £16,940 pa

DETAILS: to teach on the BA (Hons) Textile Design at the University of Falmouth. The course allows students to explore both new and traditional materials and processes and new ways of combining them, establishing their own position in the world of contemporary textile design. Applicants will have the ability to teach Dobby and Jacquard woven textiles to all levels on the Course. Knowledge of CAD for the production of woven textiles is essential, together with the ability to work over more general areas of Textile Design including colour, design development, drawing and presentation. Candidates will have an ongoing and demonstrable commitment to research and/or professional practice in a related field. Excellent communication and organisational skills and the ability to work independently and within a team are vital to achieving success in this role.
