Jewellery Exhibition
WHO: jewellers.
WHAT: I Care A Lot is a platform for contemporary jewellery that aims to promote and raise its legibility as an art form by dealing with current issues. Jewellery works are now sought that refer to a variety of themes associated with the Middle East. The work should have an unexpected creative concept. The jewellery pieces can express a belief, a wish, it can be a trigger to start a discussion, raising questions, show opinions, a teaser, a protest or anything else relevant to the topic.
DETAILS: I Care A Lot was founded in Stockholm, Sweden 2009 by Dana Hakim a jewellery artist and Yosef Bercovich a graphic designer. The nominees will be chosen by an international jury, and their art works will be exhibited online from the 15 May, 2010. A limited addition colour printed catalogue will be published 15 June. The project will then be offered to galleries and museums for a future exhibition.
