WHAT: Using the permanent collections at Cannon Hall Museum and Wentworth Castle in Barnsley this is an opportunity to work with a group of young people to create and produce a visual piece of artwork for Cannon Hall Museum.
WHEN: Selection of artist March 2010, Research and delivery of workshops March to May 2010, Installation of final piece June 2010.
PAYMENTS: £8000 plus VAT (if VAT registered)
CHARGES: N/A
DETAILS: Precious Cargo is the Yorkshire element of the Stories of the World project - one of the ten major projects at the heart of the Cultural Olympiad. Working with young people the project will reinterpret collections in an innovative and creative way.
