WHO: professional artists, designers, architects and curators are eligible to apply for residency.
WHAT: aims to encourage international contacts for artists and focuses on visual culture including design and architecture, locally rooted practice and Nordic as well as international processes. The selection is based on artistic merits and the quality of artistic practice. Applicants from outside the Nordic region are expected to be fluent in English. Please note that the program is not available for students.
WHEN: the residency at the Nordic Artists' Centre includes a monthly grant of 6700 NOK (approx. £730), living and working space, as well as covered travel expenses reimbursed on arrival. Artists' houses are fully equipped; studios are 50m², with a wireless internet access available in both houses and studios.
