WHO: Artists of different disciplines will be invited and comissioned to inmerse and produce in diverse locations of the Spanish countryside that represent paradigmatic cases of the current rural milieu.

WHAT: from a Cantabrian Mountains village, to a colonisation town of Extremadura, the plain lands of Tierra de Campos or a fishing community in Galicia, artists will have a local resource person, a training workshop, a work space and accomodation, production resources,  curator´s guidance,  documentation of the process , with a publication and exhibition at the end of the residency.

WHEN: 1 April - 30 August.

DETAILS: The goal of the Inland Residency Program is to put in practice the statements posed during last Inland International Conference, Madrid 21-24 October, and at the same time have a creative investment in the rural question. On support of experimenting with collaborative, site-specific and process art, where the portrait, the crithic, the transformation or elaboration of the essences and concepts within the rural are possible. It will be also a chance to contrast the role of art and the artist in a local context.
