Photography Lecturer
WHO: applicants with a proven track record in photography, with evidence of research in the theory and/or practice of lens-based media expertise in photography, who have taught at undergraduate level
WHAT: Part Time (0.6) Lecturer in Photography
PAYMENTS: £34,201 - £41,062 pro rata
DETAILS: to join a new team on the BA Photography, one of four subject areas within the Undergraduate Fine Art Programme at Camberwell College of Arts. With expertise in photography the successful candidate will teach and inspire students, providing them with academic and pastoral guidance. Applicants will also have the opportunity to develop cross-college relationships, encouraging collaboration and connecting undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The role will involve some administrative tasks such as monitoring attendance and keeping records, but also an opportunity for continuing professional development. The successful applicant will be expected to deliver both practical and theory sessions to our students and maintain an awareness of advances within their subject and higher education generally. Qualifications in teaching and photography are ideal but not essential. More important are excellent communication skills, the ability to work as part of a team and creating an exceptional student experience.
