Now that my work is finished and installed at Broomhill I want to say a big thank you to the London Sculpture Workshop who allowed me to use their facilities to make my sculpture. The technicians Mellis and James were incredibly helpful and made it possible to get a lot done in a very short time frame. I would recommend the workshop to anyone making sculpture in London.

My sculptures usually begin with a research expedition to a museum or a landscape and develop through extensive experimentation with materials and processes in my studio. My work investigates landscape and the representation of nature using an abstract visual language. I am interested in using materials to represent something as complex as an ocean or a land mass simply through form or colour or line. I move between drawing, sculpture and printmaking and I consider my work to be a collection of specimens that I have discovered through the process of making. My sculptures and installations are moments when I bring several objects together with the desire to communicate another world.
