After months of correspondence via email I am finally going to meet up with my voluntary model this evening. Back in December of last year Elaine responded to my post on the Leeds Visual Art forum to show her interest in my Public Portrait Project and since then we have been discussing possible dates and venues.
We are meeting up at a local pub and I am to look out for a lady with wavy, strawberry blonde hair and a long face – what an interesting description!
After tonight , I will finally be able to visualise the composition for the painting – it's a really exciting time!
