The lightness of the cast in the tissue paper découpage represented the delicateness, a fragility and felt or perception of the/a woman.

A reflection of the human condition. The media and society have put its mark on what they perceive to be beautiful.
Thoughts of growth, and nurturing …who is she? With no specific features, acts like a silhouette, this body may represent whoever.

As a trained beauty therapist I have an interest of the body form, and well being; the perception and the human conditioning. The media and society has put its mark on what they perceive  On viewing this I think of growth, the nurturing who is she? I feel my work leans towards questioning perception or is it just preference?  This piece with no specific features like the silhouettes the body may represent whoever,  and the hope of a woman for her life and future.

I had previously tried to upload this but i had issues with the layout of my images and I have a load of a lady? Whom I don’t know, #confused.  It brings me back to the lecture when my art colleague Harry Osborne was presenting his blog and my image ‘Contentment’ appeared in his thread.
