getting work ready for printfest…
it was a long day, framing always takes so much longer then you expect! everything looked great tho, there’s loads of stuff.. good luck to the kind people from the print centre taking it up to cumbria this weekend and manning the stand..
this is the tile i embossed, i cut a paper stencil out then using a soft old screen and a roller i pressed the image into the clay, really fun, Tara has kindly fired it for me and i am going to try printing on it..

we are also planning to take a selection of prints the pupils made and make them into a book combining one print from each pupil to make one book which will hopefully be digitally printed fulll size ( each print is about a5 size)

the work is going to be on display in an exhibition opening on the 17th May in the memorial gallery, yale, wrexham. the exhibition will also showcase work by another school group that designed postage stamps and will involve work by myself as an introduction/launch to this residency project.
