Using colourless prismatic materials the interior space is transformed in direct sunlight. Daylight is split into multiple colours with interesting shadows and light-splitting effects. When the sun goes behind a cloud, the colours disappear and the space returns to normal.
Exploring Dynamic Materials – an a-n bursary project
This blog records an exciting collaborative project exploring dynamic materials that respond to changes in environmental conditions. Working with engineers we will create a series of prototypes over the next 8 months and explore their sculptural and architectural potential.
