Right about now, ten years past, I was beginning to pull together ideas for my Drawing for Fine Art Practice BA final exhibition. I was yet to figure out how all the ideas, buzzing around in my head and journals, would come together. But, I could make progress on refining some of those ideas. One idea involved exploring how to create geometric animations of my circle and square alphabet components. I had been inspired by viewing the geometric films made by Manfred Mohr.

This was destined to become the kinetic component of my installation: THE LOGIC AND INFLUENCE OF CIRCLE, SQUARE AND TRIANGLE. Each cell (frame) was made ‘by hand’ in Photoshop and then sequenced in Premiere.

The pressure to deliver was on, but this was a very enjoyable and creative time. Such good memories!
