As part of the AN coach training in 2018 we also received coaching, and I have been coached on and off ever since. Now, I spend more time in my studio making art. I take my artwork to it’s completion, to when I am proud of it and it is ready for a new owner. I am confident in my practise and trusting in my judgment and intuition.

Coaching has enabled me to identify barriers stopping me doing more of what I wanted. It then helped me to diminish them. This has not been an easy process and has not been overnight, but it may never have happened without it.

Through the coaching process, I have learned how to work through things myself, what questions to ask myself to move things forward, and to prioritise. However, I still feel the need to have a coaching session. I still can’t listen to myself enough to hear what my emotions are telling me. Two heads are better than one to get to the solution, or first step forward. There is always more work to do. The discovery of Self is endlessly fascinating.
