Metronova scored early to draw level on points with Liver Halvers. The home team dominated proceedings against a Halvers side that just couldn’t seem to get out of the starting blocks. Well, it’s been quite an interesting week as Novia continue to put on the pressure at the top. No-one could’ve really predicted the start they’ve had to the season and their manager has promised more of the same.

‘I’m convinced that this ain’t no goddamn fluke. My guys worked their butts off over the summer break, and alls am sayin’ is that if Athletico want to get back in the runnin’ they’re gonna have ta sing for the top spot…’

Meanwhile, Tranquilayers are relieved to have bagged their first 3 points in a number of games. Their chairman expects better from his team…
