Another concept of sculpture.
In this sculpture i play with the materials involved.

In this artwork I used again organic materials, this because i want to include in my projects for the future, work with the organic materials.
And why, it could be simple,I have a statement about my work, could be interesting to everybody to know which are my intentions.
My art becomes the reflection of all that, I think and see. everything that man does in the world. As surely everyone knows. The man is destroying the world. My art is based on exploring all that issues and happenings, or situations created by the Humans. The use of organic materials and objects made by man, because with things found in the street, we can make fantastic artworks. It may seem strange, but I think the contemporary art, is a way to protect the world, or to shake , because it will be difficult to change the mentality from the people, it seems everything it’s very manipulated, but that’s is another meaning.

” His excellency, the chair”
Could be like a tribute to the chair and the natural organic materials, as knowing the chair had a long history, through the years

If we look back the chairs have a long history. Archaeological evidence of sculptural relics at Neolithic building sites suggest chair and bench-like areas, so it appears that chairs emerged during the Stone Age. But it is not certain at what point during the expanse of time after the last Ice Age from about 10,000 B.C.

I am glad to say, my first artwork for degree show is ready for exhibition, i am really happy, I reach my aim with this meaningful sculpture in all the aspects as you look to the sculpture, but better then words the photos:

My artwork is finished and i am happy because i create a intriguing sculpture and as well very provocative in meanings of subject.

It was a very interesting work where i had a few arguments even with myself till i find the perfect way for my idea. In other words, the perfect shape, size, and space involved within.

“You see, but you don’t”
Sculpture done behind the subject, ‘Environment and social”
Why ? That’s very simple, we as human kind, we only think about ourselves and our quality of live, after that nothing matter anymore, but the World is still around us, it could be strange but also provocative, my idea for this sculpture, we only care about our comfort. It could be also a little bit provocative, yes i want to make it very questionable in all the possible matters.

This post will be only for the purpose of what i think about, and what i feel about art.
What is art ?
Art is a form of self-expression. I believe we are all artists. I could say also, my dissertation, it was about Joseph Beuys, him the artist with the famous statement, ” we are all artists”. I believe not because of him, but since a lot of years. We are all capable of feelings and as well innovation. For example, I think also all the sports are art. Why ? Because to all the players, they play to be themselves, the way they use the body language as a form of art. Art also is a way of communication, is the way the artist communicates with each other, (viewers, people in general).
Art is the best way to reach the one’s heart.
Art also is a presentation of feelings, memories from the artist. Art is language. It gives us or allow, to “speak” in a form of artwork.
Also art is a spiritual journey, it is, not materialistic or even rational. And neither should be.

From clay to Plaster.
Sculpture and all the secrets to find the better way to do your work, with Inaki Etxeberria teaching us how to model faces in clay for after make the transition to plaster.
Work with clay such a delicate material to do fantastic sculptures, in the past i use to work with clay, but i have to be honest, never at this level of dedication and motivation. Clay such a interesting material from Earth. I always love to use my hands to do whatever it can be done. And in this course, but specifically in these workshops, I get much more confident to work with different materials
