Going through my Powerpoint presentation for my Degree Project was good to have done and i love talking about Art, though writing about Art is difficult.
Its difficult having an illness and studying. Its something that i have to live with Day to Day and the frustrations for me and my husband. But my tutors are all supportive and its important to have that support.
I do also believe that i should be more assertive and ask for help more and delegate! Thats something to work on!!
My art practice is taking a while to procure as with all installation work there is a lot of planning but that is all part of the process.
The Journey and the reflections are all key to my work. The way in which mirrors and reflective surfaces and Admission are all key to my working progress. It will be great to have some work to put up in my space that are some sort of grounding blocks, to move forward with in the process of Degree works for assessment.
At times like these i need to plan ahead and work out time scales and be proactive and practical.

Experiencing all sorts of challenges!!! Its great to be in the studio and also plan for things to come.
I am grateful for all the opportunities and support from tutors and my support / friend Chloe Sage.

blog description of progress
It was sooo amazing to do the movement and presentation skills class with our Head of School of Arts and Humanities! it was a great opportunity to free up and just release and i felt that as Chrissie had set some time with us and i love to do movement and spatially explore space. I used to be a Designer and i have studied a degree in Architecture so i kind of have that in my blood!
I was a bit worried about my knee after my fall last week in the car park at uni. It was tremendous help to limber up!
Working on my powerpoint has helped me to understand where my work is going and the way in which i have developed my working title:
Admission into
it really works with my theme of Admission and being in a space even the process and interaction of entering the space. I have put ideas into plan to work on and develop. it is amazing to see the ideas up on powerpoint. Me Laura and Mel plan to see if we can go to the space we are presenting in and get used to the space. Maybe tomorrow? mmm
In fact doing the powerpoint has helped me to see connections in my work but BUT I find it difficult to articulate in writing so i need Clo!!!
its been so exciting to see my work progress and now i keep wondering how am i going to put all my ideas in a succinct powerpoint and then i recall what i did at the salthouse and i think, well just have a go!!!
Some of my ideas are quite architectural and i have an opportunity for a space in the Ipswich town centre! i will endeavour to chase that up as i consider that Curiosity Collective could do something i can collaborate with them on with their Time Show ‘revisited” as the church they were in was a bit out of the way.
As you can see from my work so far it is very much about the reflective and the out and within its kind of interesting to see how the work is progressing. It was recommended to watch Orpheus in the Underworld for that space in which you may never return but have a reason to be in!
