It was a hectic day feeling really run down and low on energy. The day started with a flop after my nocturnal artistic activity!!

Thats the thing about Bipolar and being unable to do much at all.

I typed up my writing inspired by my work. its incredible that Emma does a similar thing with her work!!! At the moment i plan to do an open mic with it at uni — urh the nerves!! i did a rehearsal at uni but need to have a mini audience to perform it!

The way in which the characters are displaced by a shop window is interesting with my work and inspired by my work using mirrors.

Good to check in with Carol and Mel, Sonia and Laura for Art On The Prom. I’m glad we are nearing somewhere with it. Its exciting and we have lots of planning to do but not too much its all good.

I will venture to the seaside sweetshops tomorrow in the town centre and the seafront! there are two in town to do some promo begging!

The video diary is coming along well, i try to make it different to how i want it to be viewed but sometimes simplicity like a personal address is enough.

i feel really motivated and directed in the right direction which is pretty vague but as i work my work works for me! its amazing how work has its own language. You think, yeah i’ll have a go at that and then when you do it leads you and shapes the future of the actual ideas.

Speaking to my tutor concerning the proposal is really helpful. David helped me to see all the perspectives and that its ok to be where i am right now.

Its imperative to understand its the creative side of things and that the proposal in powerpoint is something that the tutors can help with too. When we do our presentations i have noted that they do interject and come up with some amazing ideas and relevant observations.

Today was a good day!

Following Christian Union meeting we know that we need to reach out to more students and maybe me and Steven work together – he is a Photography student level 5 / 2nd year.

In the talk on wednesday it was suggested we work with other artists and designers etc and i really hope that a work that i would like to do with Art and Design Society at uni will take off and be participated in.

Freshers fair we had soooOOO much hope and me and Steven did the work as Sherrie helped to kind of guide us into the day. But our hopes of having lots more members was dashed a bit last night as many didn’t come but Sherrie did say first meeting is often quiet!

Yesterday i did some macquets for my ideas and experiments and took a look at the brief and course details. I had to tidy up my space its easier to work in a space that you can see and use better, less clutter more creativity – maybe its different for some but i guess as a Conceptual Artist practice it is clear to me thats the way i work.
