51:Zero° Voyager is a dynamic Medway and Kent festival, offering the chance to experience some of the best film, video and digital arts in alternative and outdoor locations. The festival features film screenings, performance and installations, artists’ talks and workshops and a curated session by young filmmakers. Events take place in a variety of venues, from the Corn Exchange in Rochester to a Moroccan Café in Chatham. Launch Reception is on Friday evening from 19:30 with free buffet and screening of eccentric comedy Black Cat White Cat by Emir Kusturica (1998). The Medway programme ends on Monday 19th November with an Open Projector event for all filmmakers and artists to show their films to a live audience. The 2012 festival takes place in Whitstable, Maidstone, Rochester and Chatham. 51:Zeroº Voyager, is supported by Arts Council England, The National Lottery through the BFI and Creative England, Medway Council and Kent County Council.*Please note some films are unclassified but we suggest suitable for over 15s.
