This event aims to provide a professional development and informal network opportunity for artists, curators and arts organisers interested in residencies, particularly in the South West and is presented alongside A time and a place an exhibition curated by Janice Botterill as the first recipient of New Brewery Arts’ OpenCurate programme.

It is hoped that the event, funded by Arts Council England, and supported by New Brewery Arts and Visual Arts South West, will provoke discussion and conversation about artists’ residencies.  We anticipate the event will also initiate and develop links between artists, curators and organisations involved in artists’ residencies

The event will centre around a series of presentations from artists participating in the associated exhibition.

Participating Artists:

Ann-Margreth Bohl

Jill Carter

Nancy Clemance

Tara Harland Viney
