Crit group takes place at Elevator Gallery on a Tuesday or Wednesday evening once a month. It is an informal gathering of contemporary artists with the aim of providing a supportive arena to show work, test ideas and get some critical feedback.The format: 2 or 3 artists at each session bring along a piece of work to show. The group gives 30 – 45 mins of discussion to each piece/artist. Artists are asked not to give any presentation or introduction to their work; you bring the work, everyone else does the talking! Tea and coffee is provided and maybe even some biscuits if you’re lucky.
