An evolving, interactive exhibition of found objects (in a shed) by Lorsen Camps, Martin Green, Joanna Rucklidge … and YOU! All the objects on display are things that others have lost, overlooked or discarded. The work raises notions of beauty and value, presenting these items as precious fragments of life rather than mere rubbish. The exhibition is based in a shed (or Centre for Contemporary Art as it’s officially known) – one of three to come from the Bob & Roberta Smith show at the Mead Gallery, Warwick Arts Centre, earlier this year. After the exhibition finished the sheds were given to artists or artist groups to show work in the local community. Please bring along any interesting found objects that you are willing to donate to the Beauty in the Disregarded collection.
