Kid crayon

Kid Crayons first solo show since 2014 will be presented at D Unit gallery, Bristol. Attendees can expect to see an eclectic mix of canvas paintings, marker drawings and custom art toys. The artwork is themed around pop culture of the 90s with strong influences from the graffiti, hip hop and skate culture.

Kid Crayon has created an element of play within the collection, by adding subtle references that connect many of the artworks together. This easter egg hunt can  only be viewed in the three days the artworks are together as one collection. As well as the original artwork on display, Kid Crayon will also be releasing two digital prints, a zine and a limited edition run of cereal boxes.

Cowabunga will run from March 4th -6th march at Unit D Gallery. Doors will open on the 4th
March at 6pm.

Kid Crayon is a multi-disciplinary artist based in Bristol. He Studied Animation at the University of the West of England, but now works as freelance Illustration and muralist. He has worked with a broad range of clients, including Deliveroo, Adidas, Ocean and Abode.
He is passionate about character design and works in an art style that is deeply rooted in Hip Hop, Skateboard and graffiti culture. Kid crayon is an avid videographer and often documents his projects in short form videos; for his youtube channel.

Kid Crayon makes up one half of the art duo EAT crew alongside artist ‘SPZero’ . He is also part of the London based collective ‘Gums and Tongue’ . He tries to focus most of his energy on personal projects and fills his time traveling, painting and collaborating with other artists.

He has a been involved in numerous paint festivals across Europe and beyond , as well as taken part in several artist residencies. Kid Crayon continues to push his creative practice and uses art to positively enhance public spaces.
