PROGRAMME

DAY 1 – THURSDAY 31ST OCTOBER

Developing a collaborative regional strategy for arts and health, and Annual General Meeting

Introduction: Our collaborative regional strategy identifies loneliness, mental health and social prescribing as regional priorities.
Collaboration: At what geographic scale does collaboration between arts and health providers and practitioners make sense to you?

We will learn about collaborative work in three different localities: the Community Connections social prescribing project in South Ward in Weston-super-Mare; work across Torbay led by Torbay Culture; and strategic initiatives with Cornwall County Council (Steve Brown, Deputy Director of Public Health, Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly and Jayne Howard, Director, Arts Well UK CIC)

Co-production: how do we ensure that people with lived experience of ill-health are part of our discussions and plans at every stage? Panel discussion

Breakout sessions will give you an opportunity to contribute to the development of the regional strategy and to get creative.

DAY 2 – FRIDAY 1ST NOVEMBER
