In news guaranteed to pique the interest of East London’s art lovers, the capital’s leading urban and surrealist art gallery, The Curious Duke Gallery based in Shoreditch, will venture further east to occupy the Walthamstow Village Window Gallery during November.

Representing some of the most exciting emerging artists from around the world, such as Lee Herring, Louise McNaught, Roy’s People, Simone Webb, Samantha Gare and Otto D’Ambra; The Curious Duke exhibition offers a chance to pick up some unique, affordable Christmas presents just before the festive season begins, as all art work will be for sale at prices under £500.

Speaking of the upcoming show, Curious Duke owner and founder, Eleni Duke, said: “Walthamstow has been known for a while now as an up-and-coming arts hub, with the development of Wood Street Walls and a plethora of art galleries moving to the area. I’m looking forward to introducing Walthamstow to the Curious Duke and showing customers what we have to offer.”

PREVIEW EVENING Friday 4 November 2016, 7-9pm. Then the exhibition will continue until Sunday 27 November.

Occupying 10m of beautiful Victorian corner-shop windows, formerly Frank Ison’s hardware store, Walthamstow Village Window Gallery is a street-facing gallery overlooking Walthamstow’s village square. The gallery is viewable entirely from the pavement and is child/dog/cycle/wheelchair friendly.
