‘Let’s Play Records!’ presents 'Extended Play' and the Strictly Vinyl 24hr Discothon! To help publicise the work of the charities and community groups who have been involved with the ‘B.Y.O Disco!’ road show and any other charities in the area a 24hr Discothon is being organised to help them raise even more funds for their projects. The Discothon will take place on Saturday 20th of June at 11.00am at the Exchange in Penzance. You can dance for the whole 24hrs or dance for just a few. The emphasis is on putting the fun into fund raising for the hard working few who keep our charities going. It costs £3 for adults and £1 for kids under 14 and you get to decide who gets your ticket money. A list of the charities taking part will be available at the gallery on the day. If you have a vinyl collection and would like to DJ a session at the discothon then please get in touch. The event is part of the vinyl inspired exhibition ‘Extended Play!’ run by artist Bruce Davies and is one of many activities that can be tried out during the show.
