The exhibition showcases the Muir is Tìr /Land and sea residency, as well as the work of two artists from the An Suileachan residency based on the Bhaltos peninsula.
Muir is Tìr is a new format of residency that offers a week at sea, learning to sail with our partner organisation Sail Britain and a week on land exploring the different environments of the island as well as the language and culture of the place.
The resulting exhibition is a response to these residency experiences and features among other elements swim suits, aerial film and embroidery.
The participating artists are: Mollie Goldstrom, William Arnold, Amy Leigh Bird, Kirsty Dixon, Claire Macleod, Joanne Kaar and Helen Snell.
