Vessels by Carolyn Corfield feature in an exhibition of ceramic diversity by members of the Northern Potters Association in this much acclaimed and all encompassing centre for the arts. Resonant of rusted metal her ash and manganese glazed stoneware pieces acknowledge the legacy of the early ironmasters. Whilst best known for her figurative sculpture Carolyn’s recent forays into site-responsive events linked to industrial heritage has resulted in the development of these vessel forms.
