‘Proforma in Venice‘ is an ever-changing exhibition presenting the work of six artists from Greater Manchester, UK, whose work explores increasingly shifting notions of identity.
Through performance, intervention, film, moving image, sound and live art, each artist has created new work relating to their existing practice, the Corte Supernova space and related residencies in Venice.
This residency-as-exhibition-as-event disrupts conventional exhibition practices and embraces the chaotic politics of change through daily activity, weekly discussions and transformative events.
