Artists Discussion Thursday 28th18.30-20.00, Private View Friday 29th 18.00-20.00 Safer with strangers is an exhibition to ‘compare & contrast’ the practise of 5 different artists (local, national and international) and to examine the migration of artists away from small towns to big cities; how the magnetism of other artists (like minded individuals) and their associated creativity creates a critical, magnetic mass which is difficult for an aspiring artist to resist and to question if it is possible, or desirable, to pull these artistic migrants (back) to small towns to inspire and spread their creativity locally.
