The Ceramic House is the creation of architectural ceramicist J Kay Aplin. It is an evolving personal project whereby Kay is transforming her home into a work of art and making a showcase of her ceramic and glass creations. Each May, as part of Artists Open Houses during the Brighton Festival, The Ceramic House opens to the public when Kay invites a selection of leading international ceramic artists to display their work in the domestic context of her installations throughout the house and garden.2013 exbhibiting artists: Sandy Brown, Robert Dawson, Delfina Emmanuel, Anna Collette Hunt, Vanessa Conyers, Renee Kilburn, Ferri Farahmandi, Mandee Gage, Rebecca Fairman, Belgin Boszahin, Jessica Joslin, Remon Jephcott, Mayumi Yamashita, Melanie Roseveare, Simone Perrotte, Landon Peck, Dana Lazarus-Cass, Joanna Mires, Tamar Rose, Matthew David Marsh and Rebecca Symons.
