For the third conversation evening at TOPOS we are inviting discussion around the theme of Producing Landscapes. On our guest list are artists Dawn Scarfe and Simon Pope, Devon farmer Simon Sutcliffe, Christine Duff from Organic Arts and other interesting people who are involved in mediating between the land that surrounds us and ourselves. Josie Sutcliffe will facilitate.

We want to discuss ways in which cultural production and economic productivity can and do merge in land-stewardship and we’ll think about expectations and ambitions surrounding the ways we access and co-habit landscape with non-human others. We want to share ideas around how art contributes to our landscape dreamings, and how it can play a part in shaping our landscapes of the future.

The evening will start at 6pm with a work-in-progress showing. There will be a pot of soup to help things along, but please bring a small food/drink contribution to share with fellow guests. The discussion will be 7-9pm.

Please feel very welcome to join us and add your voice to the evening. The last event was fully booked and places are limited, so please register your interest via the Eventbrite booking page.
