Thrash Out: Politics and Humour

The first in a series of four debates/conversations in the lead up to the general election. This week will focus on politics and humour. Three of our artists will discuss the role of artists as political activists focusing on humour. Come debate with us!

Hack & Host will host weekly conversations during May 2017. Each conversation will feature three Hack & Host members and will focus on set themes. These conversations will feed into a “Thrash Out” debate titled “Artists as Political Activists”.

 

The first conversation will feature Fraser Briggs, Rachel French and Joe Hodgson. It will be hosted by Paul Collinson.

This conversation will focus on politics and humour, which is a strong theme in the works of each artist.

The evening will be interactive. Expect audience participation, props, games and limited edition artist-made goodie bags.
